• Dives booked during the annual dive sign-up day require a minimum 35% deposit to reserve your space. Deposits may be made with cash, cheque (payable to Durham Divers Scuba Club), or PayPal. • A further 35% is due via cash, cheque, or PayPal by a month later. The final 30% balance owing is due 2 months after the sign up date.
• Dives booked after May 15 require full payment at the time of booking the charter. Your spot is not guaranteed until payment has been received.
• Dives canceled within 30 days of the charter are eligible for a refund ONLY if all the spaces on the boat can be filled.
• Extenuating circumstances (death, serious illness) are at the discretion of the executive to provide refunds of which will be provided on or before October 1st.
• As a diver, it is your responsibility to maintain your health. A cold, ear infection or allergies will not be considered reason for refund.
• If you book an advanced dive WITHOUT your advanced certification, it is YOUR responsibility to successfully complete a qualifying advanced course BEFORE your scheduled dive or arrange an instructor to accompany you on the dive as a training dive (space permitting). Failure to provide sufficient certification of such will cause you to forfeit the dive applicable to the above cancellation schedule.
• Any questions on this policy may be brought up to the attention of the President, Vice President, Treasurer, or the Dive Coordinator for clarification.

If the Durham Divers Scuba Club or the Captain of the charter choose to cancel the charter for whatever reason, a full refund will be provided.
